Welcome to Sabrina Equine Rescue in Jamestown Kentucky.

To adopt from us you will have to be willing to do the following;

1. Fill out adoption application.

2. Meet with staff at the site where the horse will live.

3. Background is verified and checked.

4. Pay adoption fee & Sign contract.

5. Horse may be delivered or you can pick up.

6. Staff will stay on site minim 1hr to be sure horse is doing well.

Adoption fees very on every horse due to the out of pocket cost for vets bills and us to rehabilitate said horse back to health. Staff will make 4 surprise visit after adoption is complete. Staff will come around every 3 months for 1 year to be sure horse is well and no issues arise. The contract does state the adopted party can loose custody of said horse if Sabrina Equine Rescue staff feel the horse is not being cared for properly at anytime spanning from the life of said horse or donkey. Furthermore adopted party will agree to give full authorization to Sabrina Equine Rescue staff and vet at anytime to enter property where horse is kept to secure it at any time or date to investigate the horses health or take back in possession as a rescue horse if not properly cared for by judgment of Sabrina Equine Rescue staff or Sabrina Equine Rescue Vet.

The horses health and safety is number one. After the 1st year we rarely visit. If we receive a complaint or concerns arise then surprise visits will start and will be vigorous to protect the horse, Donkey, Adopted party and Sabrina Equine Rescue. We do understand people lie to get even with others, Be assure if you are doing right we will see the truth by our visits and you will have nothing to worrie about and look at it as we are there to cover you and we will be 100% on your side if you are doing right by us. If the law is involved and we know for a fact you are doing the right care then we will even go to court and defend you in any way we can, however we do not cover legal fees.
